Webinar: New Financial Reporting Requirements – A Guide for Charities

A webinar explaining the changes and new financial reporting requirements for UK charities in 2026.

18 June 2026:

The new Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) takes effect for reporting periods starting on or after 1 January 2026. Understanding the changes – including the new three-tier reporting system – is essential for all UK charities going forward.

This practical webinar steps you through the key changes and new financial reporting requirements, and is presented by Chartered Accountant and trainer, Neal Trup, who specialises in charities and social enterprises.

The session covers:

  • Trustees’ Annual Report
  • New approach to income recognition
  • Accounting for leases (especially for buildings, vehicles and major equipment)
  • Implications for transition, management accounts, funding and covenants
