Exploring Collaboration Models in Arts & Culture

A practical webinar exploring organisational collaboration models from informal alliances to full mergers. Presentation, discussion and Q&A with representatives Eastside People, Diverse City and Apples and Snakes.

Collaboration is key in the arts sector. But what does it actually mean?

Working together could be a way to save money, maximise impact, share expertise and more, but it can be hard to know where to start or how far to go.

This webinar is for anyone considering closer collaboration with other organisations, and wondering about next steps.

The webinar begins with a presentation from Cara Evans, Head of Partnerships and Mergers at Eastside People, exploring a full spectrum of possible collaboration models, from informal and contract-based alliances, to joint ventures, groups and full mergers.

We then hear from Becky Chapman from Diverse City, and Natalie Fiawoo and Rob Lynden from Apples and Snakes, who discuss their experiences of different types of collaboration at their organisations. We end the session with an audience Q&A.

This webinar is intended to guide people through different approaches and share real-world case studies and available resources. Our upcoming collaboration models toolkit, which will be released later in 2025, will expand on the themes addressed here.
