Theo Guttenplan
Operations Assistant
Theo joins Figurative as a part-time member of the team in his first operations role. Previously, he has had a wholly freelance career as a drummer, percussionist, and educator. Graduating from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2021 with a degree in Jazz Performance, he has gone on to perform around the world as an artist and as a session musician.
The portfolio nature of his career has given him a range of experiences, such as organising touring bands, delivering samba percussion workshops at universities, and founding and running a community radio station. His experience in, and passion for, music and the arts is what led him to join the team at Figurative.
Outside of work in its various forms, Theo enjoys chess, woodworking, and football – although solely as a spectator.
