Our Impact
A commitment to social impact underpins all we do, from investments and programmes to advisory services and the way we operate.
A commitment to social impact underpins all we do, from investments and programmes to advisory services and the way we operate.
The cultural and creative sector has huge potential to improve lives, strengthen communities and deliver positive social change. We exist to support that potential. That means working with funders and partners to bring new, purpose-driven investment into the sector, and with organisations to capture and articulate the difference they make in the world.
We enable impact in a variety of ways, including:
Our blended finance models have brought significant impact investment to the cultural and creative sector.
Our initiatives ensure that the sector’s valuable work with individuals and communities can continue.
Our philanthropic networks are designed to accommodate the specific needs of each area in which they operate.
We work with our partners to share research, expertise and insights from our projects and programmes.
The majority of our investment has been allocated towards organisations located in the 40% most deprived LSOAs.
We estimate that each investee contributes to at least two SDG outcome areas such as improving education and reducing inequality.
Our work identifies key challenges and opportunities for impact in the sector, opening up debate and fostering new ideas.
We work closely with our portfolio to make sure we are supporting their impact goals.
We will always take a collaborative approach to our work, inviting feedback and re-evaluating our investment, innovation and impact models to maximise their effectiveness.
